Undrallu- Steamed Salty Rice Rawa Dumplings - Andhra delicacy for Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi Wishes to All Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival of Hindus.   Lord Ganesha  the God of Wisdom and one of the favorite God for children he is fondly called by them Elephant God. According to Hindu Calender  today is his Birthday. In Andhra homes usually offerings for Lord Ganesha are  salt savory is Undrallu a steamed round shaped Rice rawa dumplings and Kajjikayalu  a Sweet savory  made with Maida,jaggery or Sugar,Coconut and Ghee.  Today's my post is  Undrallu Ingredients: Rice               2 1/2 cups (250 gm) Salt                to taste Cumin seeds   1 tea spoon Bengal gram    1 table spoon  Water    Method:  Wash Rice in clean water for 2 to 3 times and drain the water in the Rice with the help of sieve and spread them on the dry cloth for one hour  to become dry.)  Then take this cleaned Rice in mixer grinder jar and coarsely grind it. Then sieve it. Now take fine Rawa and flour separately.  Ready made Rice rawa also available

Bhindi Masala - Okra Fry

Okra (Bhindi) is  favorite vegetable in our home.  We love to eat this vegetable in any form.Today's my recipe is simple North Indian delicacy  in my way...... Ingrdients:           Bhindi (Okra)             500  Vegetable oil.           100ml Cumin seeds.             1 spoon Yogurt                       1 Table spoon Turmeric powder        1/2 tea spoon Cumin powder            1 tea spoon Chilli powder              1 tea spoon Salt                            1 tea spoon Method: Take washed and cleaned Okra(Bhindi)generally Okras are hairy and after cutting sticky by nature,so first wash okras into  clean water and pat dry them on dry cloth and then cut off the both ends and slice  them  into small round shape pieces and keep it aside. Now heat Oil in a wide thick bottomed pan. And add cumin seeds and fry for few min.till seeds to splutter. Then add Okra  pieces and cook in high flame for few min. and reduce the flame into medium heat and add Yogurt(yogur
